A significant part of the built environment was created during the former regime, when the urgent need to provide housing for workers led to a limited living scenario. Adapting this stock to new, broader, and more varied scenarios is an ongoing task for architects and designers. Apartment M1 attempts to address the need for suitable and welcoming spaces for children. A simple gesture—the avoidance of sharp corners—became a leitmotif of the project, forming the foundation of the home's identity. Organizing the furniture across the full ceiling height aims to free up space for a new, more colorful, and welcoming living scenario.
